Huge variety - just watch!
Look for bald eagle nests on top of poles and trees along the trail. Last year there was one on top of the pole as the trail crossed Machias Road near the train station.
Love the convenient access! Bike, walk, skate, geocache at a pace that best suits you and your family!

Beautiful trail of 23 miles where you can get a good workout while getting close with nature. Many different types of wildlife can be found however far south or north you decide to travel.
Awesome for all kinds of wildlife. Walking on the path is easy and relaxing.
