Camp St. Albans provides a warm and welcoming environment to all of the kids that attend its programs. The community it fosters gives the feeling of family which allows the campers to feel comfortable and willing to be themselves and step outside of their comfort zones to try new things. Many of our campers and staff have found a home away from home here and return year after year. Because of its connection with Girl Scouts, the camp strongly encourages acceptance and celebrates diversity. It is a place where kids who feel like they are the odd one out and don't have a voice can be heard and have a say in what they do for the week. The rural nature of the camp also allows campers, staff, and troops to disconnect from the "real" world and forget about whatever stresses or worries they may have at home and focus on enjoying the moment.
