Great cuz it's local and easy to reach.
Loved camping here as a kid.
Rich in Washington Coastal Tribes history, the name is Chinook Jargon made of words: Kopa means "at" and Chuck means "water". This was a seasonal fishing and clamming spot for the Puyallup and Nisqually Tribes.
Lots of memories here!
Great place to enjoy the shoreline habitat with children.
