  • It was fun to drive around Forks when the Twilight movies can out. We looked and looked but didn't see any vampires!

  • Check out LaPush on this drive. And the Quinault Lodge, the rain forest trailheads, Hoodsport Winery, watch the ferries in PA and be reassured that we are not running out of trees!

  • Take your time on this one. Spend a few days so you can take it all in. Lots of side roads to explore. You can also detour off on highway 112 from Port Angeles to Neah Bay and La Push to see glimpses of the Straight of Juan De Fuca the fossil beach, Pillar Point, etc. Be sure to come back along highway 112 and cut across to Lake Crescent where highway 101 travels right around the lake's edge for miles. If you have the ability and time, take a few extra days for a back-country hike up over the Upper Solduck to Heart Lake to see the blueberry meadows. Continue up along the ridge trail above Seven Lakes basin to Deer Lake. Along this route you can see the headwaters of the Solduck and Hoh rivers while the magnitude of Mount Olympus sits immediately across the Hoh River valley. Unspeakably glorious!
