Voss Acres Produce Market is located on a historic property of Copalis Crossing. The house was once the roadhouse for railroad workers when they were laying the rails in the late 1800’s, pushed down the rails as they made progress then pulled off to be the train depot in 1898 and later post office for the area. Steve Voss acquired the property in 2002 and has picked it back up with additional farm structures to raise pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks and to assist in the growing of his vegetable garden using organic practices.
The market itself, centrally located on the property, was once a structure for a shake mill then later a private garage. We acquire quality fresh fruits and vegetables through Charlie’s Produce from Seattle to enable our community to gather fresh goods all year round. When Steve’s organic items are available they supplement our product line with friendly pricing and are fresh picked while customers gather other items and/or walk the garden and visit the farm animals. Fresh eggs are collected from our chickens all week and sold on Saturday’s.
Sharon opened Voss Acres Produce Market in May of 2011 and has since provided the community with a unique view of history, charming stories of country life, and provides quality fresh items at friendly prices for families and visitors to the area. Voss Acres was awarded "New Business of the Year" by Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. in 2012! Come see what's happening in Copalis Crossing on your way to the North Beach! Enjoy history stories and hang on the fence line and "watch us grow!"
